TOPSHOP MAKEUP

As I'm not in the UK, I'm missing out on the Topshop make-up launch. So I'm researching from my laptop looking out upon the gloomy weather I had not expected although the colours of the lipsticks and nail varnishes are making me very happy indeed.  

All the SS10 make-up items used lots of bright tones that have been seen on the run way complete with glitter pots which would be perfect for summer festivals to natural eye colours and highlighters which are good for daytime. The basic make-up collection includes a bit of everything for everyone - girly pink lipgloss to black nail varnish to understated natural colours perfect with this seasons bright coloured lip trends. The collection includes main make-up essentials like blushers, skin tints, nail varnish, Kohl eye liners, Eye crayons, lip balms, lipsticks, lipgloss and other bits in a massive range of this seasons favourite shades.  I'm sure these items will become make-up bag favourite's and with there cute packaging who wouldn't want a make-up bag full!

To The Max

Maxi Dresses.

 To be quite frank I used to hate the idea of wearing one of these - I'm never normally seen in anything above the knee but recently I have really wanted one. 

For during the day I think they can look elegant and they are oh so comfortable. Topshop (i know again) & Oasis have some t-shirt style maxi-dresses in store which are fit well and come in a range of colours and prints. Along with my other favourite maxi's which are by Chloe and Alexander Wang. 
I would wear mine with some chunky wooden wedges and jewellery, Or with some black laceup boots and vintage inspired jewellery, maybe even a headband and blazer for evening wear. I'm not yet brave enough to go 'all-out' and wear a super detailed one as I think the length should the main feature so keeping the dresses simple and adding small but important accessories is the way to go. Morning Mist.

This is my wish-list for the rest of the month; In fact apart from a few swimwear pieces and its pretty much everything I would like to add to my holiday wardrobe. I have 9 days until I fly out and no money so I doubt I'll have any of this by then. Shame.

I can't stop lusting over denim and satchel's at the moment. I think the striped dress on the right is very cute, I especially love the ruffles on the shoulder and skirt. I'm surprised at this clothing-college, it's got a lot of rather girly and romantic references which is quite unusual for me.

So far today I haven't got any Easter Eggs which is a bit of a let down, Got told I was too old.  Which is always nice, slowly all the little treasures in life are fading away due to age - swapping themselves for phone bills; speaking of phones my Blackberry has decided it doesn't want to receive calls any more.

On a better note on Thursday I bought some really cute high-waisted denim shorts that I have been after for ages. I don't think I have taken them off or are planning to take them off for a while. I also wish I bought some of these sunglasses from Topshop . I really want some 'cat's eye' sunglasses but can't seem to find a decent pair anywhere. Hoping to buy some patterns this week so I can start making some of my dresses and awaiting on ebay for a denim jacket to attack - Having a job hasn't turned out that badly.
